In het project Biogeit is vanaf 2004 de kostprijs van biologische geitenmelk berekend. De resultaten stemmen hoopvol: de kloof tussen melkprijs en kostprijs is de laatste jaren jaren kleiner geworden dankzij verlaging van de kostprijs. Maar zowel aan de kostprijs als aan de melkprijs is er nog werk aan de winkel.

In the Organic Goat (\'Biogeit\') project the production cost of organic goat milk is calculated annually since 2004 . The results are promising: the negative gap between the production costs and market price of milk has decreased in recent years, thanks to cost reduction. But in relation to both the costs and the price, work is still to be done.
